Photoshoot - SimplyBeautifulYou

Hello, these are a few pics from a shoot i did a few days ago. The model's name is Prabjot and the shoot was for Simply Beautiful You who specialise in hair and makeup. The lighting in these shots were mainly from an octagonal softbox (40inch i think?..) and a rectangular softbox (60x80mm..i think..). Let me know what you think!

This was a shoot for local DJ Jad Bad Mad who wanted a nice profile picture and a headshot. Natural light and a 50mm lens with a low F stop (f1.4) to give a nice shallow depth of field.

Tilt and Shift photography - makes things look cool!

Thats right.. it really does make things look cool - and appear like toys. There are ways of creating this effect in photoshop but the real thing is simply awesome. here is a video i found using lots of stills to create a video during a monster truck rally/destruction derby type thing!

A friend of mine invited me to an exhibition at Persistence Works in Sheffield. It was about architecture and journeys and involved two professional dancers and a choreographer working alongside students on the postgraduate degree course in architecture at Sheffield University. Marni and Asif's Album...

"the best part about the wedding is this album"... Marni.

I dont think words could describe what Marni and Asif felt as they held their wedding album in their hands and they opened the first page.. They were speechless. They knew their album would be good, but they were bown away by the sheer quality of everything as a whole. I'm extremely pleased they reacted how they did because it reflects well to the standard of my work. I'm glad they liked it!

Meet Greet and Eat

The first event of the Leeds Met Sikh Society took place last week where we went to Nando's on Boar Lane to get some food after meeting up at Civic Quarter. It was an excellent turnout and I have to say the food was brilliant!
